Dover Overturned Tractor-Trailer: 5/21/09

Dover and NDP were dispatched for a rollover tractor trailer accident involving possible unknown chemicals with the driver reported to be trapped on the "S" turns on Pleasant Ridge Road in the Dover Station #2 area. While enroute DC-911 advised all units that the driver was no longer pinned and was out of the cab, which was confirmed by Dover Command, 36-3 upon his arrival, truck was carrying food products.

So any food grabbed off the truck??? BBQ??? Also if the road was closed why was the biker on it??? What was down the other side of the truck??? Great shots.

Driver appeared to have non life threatening injuries, he was transported ALS.

Thomas, in a few shots you can see the guard rails, on the other side of that is a large dirt berm and past that is downnnnnn down down. This "S" turn is the scene of alot of accidents. There was some steak and other goodies on board, all the contents left in the trailer. Here is a shot of the crew looking over the contents.

The "S"nake curve strikes again.....You'd think these drivers don't understand the big yellow signs...telling them of the hill, curve combination! Maybe they think the signs are just for decorations! :blink:

I hate the "S" turns I do them at least twice going to work in Wingdale and then is I to do a job on the Mt. At least the drive was not hurt that bad.
