My qualifications are watching from a safe distance while I an "setting up" my ALS gear. Would this qualify me to stand in the very back row here??

Previous training, such as auto extrication, technical rescue, or other relevant classes. The instructor wants people who already are knowlegable with the basics of auto extrication, and some background using the tools and equipment that may be called into play during a technical rescue. Rescue ops training, etc. Someone who is rather new and just took the AVET class wouldn't qualify.

I appreciate that comment a lot. That's one of the main reasons this site is here. I had one week to promote this class, and hope the turnout was good, I know there was a somber mood. I tried to get the word out to as many people as possible. John is awesome to set up and sponsor this class, it is a lot of work and time on his part to not only set up the class, but get the trucks for the class, set them up, etc. I will be working with him to promote more training in the future, check Stiloskis.com for details when they become available.
