Has Newburgh PD been affected by the economy? Maybe this will get them some federal funding for more officers or at least an FBI Task Force to come in for a little while.

City of Newburgh gets worse each year. Its a poor run down city that looks like the Bronx did in the 70's and 80's.

PD and FD are very under staffed .

One positive thing is Pete's Hot Dog's on So.Williams St.

Newburgh needs some "High Visibility" with the help of Gray Uniforms,

Purple Ties, and Stetsons!

More Funds for Police Patrols!

They should fence in about 6 blocks on the lower east side, put all the gangs in there and let them fight it out. Then send the last man standing to prison.

Even during the "blizzard" Thursday night/Friday morning, they had a stabbing and two armed robberies.

One positive thing is Pete's Hot Dog's on So.Williams St.

And Newburgh Lunch on Broadway. There used to be really good sandwich shop at Lake and S. William, where the empty Rite-Aid building is now.
