1610hrs-Numerous Rockland FD's & Rockland Tech. Rescue Team toned out to respond to the Palisades Center Mall as well. This was toned out as a Signal-21 - Bomb Threat. 44-Control gave the staging area as the Commuter Lot.

1612hrs-Dept. 3 (Congers) dispatched on a m/a request for (1) truck w/a Hurst tool to re-locate to Dept. 2 (Central Nyack).

1726hrs-Dept. 22 (Valley Cottage) requested to respond with (1) engine & manpower to the J Lot, Palisade Center Mall.

1925hrs-Stony Point - Dept. 18 advising Signal's 14 & 15 (Units return to quarters/assignment complete).

The Journal News is already on top of it lol!

According to another report, a package with wires sticking out of it was found near the food court.

It was supposidly just a box with wires wrapped in tin-foil and nothing actually explosive - although I might be wrong. Fox5 News was very sketchy in the 30 seconds they devoted to this story...yes thats right a major mall gets evacuated - and they devote 30 seconds to it, most of it talking about the leuting after the incident at the IMAX and how the snack stand got robbed during after the fiasco because no one locked it up and all the workers went home.
