  2. Not yet- it was just an idea thrown out and being one of the chairs of our 75th Ann committee, tryin to hear from depts who have done it before and know what is involved... But im sure there has to be something along those lines thats gonna be involved...

  11. I know it's still early but as of May 1st, we have 100 spots remaining for the show... If interested, let me know so I can get a registration form to you... SORRY GUYS, MADE AN ERROR- ITS $15 PREREGISTERING AND $20 AFTER JUNE 1ST UP UNTIL THE SHOW...

Ladder- since this is our first year doing the show, we decided to stick with just cars, but depending on how things go for the nexts years, the ideas of allowing bikes and and fire trucks are in the mix... All depends on how things go this year... As of now- we are limited to about 120 cars for this year, we maybe able to squeeze couple more cars in when we see how things lay out the day of the show; so if you are interested in putting a car in the show, just think about pre registering: $10 before June 1st and $15 after/day of the show...

Also- fyi, there will be a golf outing in august, for any of the golfers on the site...
  19. Ahh the hat kept me nice and warm... As for the ice- it was about 5-7 inches thick, and mostly nice and smooth for nice easy ride with the hovercraft... This is the 2nd year MFVFD has hosted this drill for LCFD Explorers, and we were able to have Brewster Explorers join us this year- like many of the explorers have said its a good day of training cover many different aspects of the winter season emergencies... As for the lil mva vs Bennie- he didnt move quick enough, but hes fine...

  22. RIP Rich- gonna miss yah buddy... He was just voted into the Mahopac Falls VFD and was suppose to get sworn in this Wednesday, seemed very excited to get going with it! What a great loss to the FD&EMS Field!!!!

  25. Haven't heard much excpet he is still in critical condition down at WMC. Acouple of the guys will be heading down today to see how he is doing, but what I have heard he isnt in the clear yet.
