i must say gum is always a plus for those early calls in the am!! :angry: helmet- streamlight flashlight, pair of ems scissors, wooden door chock x2 coat- extrication gloves, survivor light, latex gloves, wire cutters pants- Res-Q Tool-> used this on 2 extrication calls and works great!!!, besides that, 2nd pair of gloves (good quality work gloves)

soo far- im a fan of the streakin sheep for bud, and the roof one was pretty good... and its only halftime...

well- somebody must have alot of free time on their hands or really gets into the holiday spirit.. but must say i have never seen anything come close to that at all!!

In our department, many of the members dont have gearracks, so they have to leave their ppe in their cars... the only thing is that our department frowns upon going to the scene in your own vehicle... but overall, id rather leave it at the house b/c its less of a hassel trying to gather your gear and putting it on when your trying to get on or even make a truck...

I agree... yes its good to have the help or concern from civilians but when they start taking matters into their own hands, problems can arise and possibly seriously hurt a victim or even themselves... Overall just leave the job to the professionals but thanks for wanting to help...

Grand Central Market/Deli- Somers/Putnam County Border(Mahopac)- The TrainWreck- 2 eggs made how ever you want it, 3 strips of bacon, couple of ham slices grilled, hashbrowns(not the shreaded ones) on a wedge... alil expensive but well worth it...

Honestly, it was a great show and i enjoyed it alot but when they turned away from the fire aspect, it started going down hill... I dont know why we need another law and order on the air but Third Watch was def a great show... does anybody know if they will continue the show on a different channel because i remember a couple of shows i watched just moved to another station?!?

Mahopac Falls has alot of guys/girls who play... if anybody wants to get a game going let us know....

i completely agree w/ the city guys.... i fully support their decision to not march =D> =D> ... its only a beret which has been party of their tradition for a long time... i dont think wearing one is going to harm the uniform...

From what i have heard the past couple of days, putnam 911 has been very active with multiple calls... yeah they are doing a good job being new and all but they still need expeirence... when the county is quite or one department is operating a call, you can get through very easily, but when they have multiple calls operating, it takes along time to get through to them... but as they say "practice makes perfect- or close to it"
