All of the utilities in service, as far as I know, are black. The other day was the first time seeing a SP Blue utility, this shot was at the dealership prior to all the equipment being installed.

Was able to get most of the 2nd WMD-CST based out of Stratton ANGB, the one of 2 teams in NY with the other being based out of Ft. Hamilton. Most were taken at Saratoga Race Course at the Travers yesterday but I am also missing the UCS.

Canadian Pacific Railway Police operate 3 units out of the Albany Area, 2 Ford Explorers and a Dodge Ram. They have NYSP radio identifiers and can be dispatched by the State Police.
This is the newest car and a rare find as they cover a LARGE area and operate out of their homes.
(Note: That he was driving and I was driving, lol)

An example: Port Authority Of NY/NJ operates ambulances and rescue trucks that operate at both LaGuardia and JFK International Airports. While their ARFF trucks are in the standard lime, all support vehicles, including rescue trucks and ambulances, are in the standard PAPD livery of white with a blue and gold stripe.

From the article linked above about RA21:

Again this does not refer to ambulances......

    To get technical....
Ambulances are not considered vehicles routinely operating on the "Angle of Attack," therefore are not required by FAA to be "yellowish-green." Ambulances that operate on an airfield are merely required to be painted and designed in accordance with KKK-A-1822F.
The most likely reason they paint it Yellowish-green is probably to keep uniformity through the company and to distinguish it as an Airport ambulance.

    Wrong!
"Nothing showing" clearly means that there is no obviously visible signs of a fire from the street.
I've been to a lot of fires in my 20+ years in the fire service and there have been very, very few instances in which there were absolutely no visible indicators of a fire of any significance upon the first unit's arrival. I would suspect that my experience is consistent with the vast majority of the fire service. I would submit that if 90+% of the time when you arrive, there is no visible indicators of a fire and subsequent investigation finds that there is in fact, no fire, then "nothing showing" clearly does mean something. The report of "nothing showing" would mean that there's a very high likelihood that there is not a fire of any significance in progress at that location.
Yes, there could be a fire hiding somewhere waiting to break out, particularly in a commercial building vs a SFD, but to take the stance that the lack of exterior visual clues is irrelevant is simply irresponsible.
The report of "nothing showing" or use of different terminology conveying a similar meaning is not where the problem lies. The problem lies with your personnel and leadership if they show up and are not ready for battle.

IMHO if it is a Fire or EMS vehicle it should have a lightbar and clear graphics/lettering, none of this ghost stuff and none of this slicktop stuff. You are not police. Unless you are in Massachusetts and then unmarked fire chief vehicles are ok, haha.

The first time I saw it, I thought it was a police car. And I question the safety of arriving on the scene as EMS and being perceived as PD, as well as the color choice. At least go with blue.

Why does that EMS vehicle have ghost graphics? Seem very stupid to me.
