Date: April 02, 2018 Time: 06:30 hours Location: 2753 State Route 145 District: East Durham Battalion: Channel: Weather: Units: East Durham Fire, Oak Hill-Durham Fire, Cairo Fire, Freehold Fire, NYSP, GCSO, Durham Police, Durham EMS, Greene County Paramedics, Greene County Coroner, New York State Fire, Greene County Fire Coordinators Writer: suffernH&Lbuff Description: Dispatched as a Working Structure Fire with Entrapment. First arriving units reported a fully involved structure fire and confirmed the entrapment. 5 persons are confirmed deceased, 2 adults and 3 children, all under the age of 12. One person is currently at an area burn center.

  13. Consolidated Hose Engine 77 is getting a Cyclone IIX with a 1500 GPM Hale QMax Pump, 750 Gallon Tank, 30A Foam. Phenix Hose Engine 76 is getting a Cyclone II with a 2000 GPM Pump, 750 Gallon Tank, and 30 Foam.

  16. Thornwood Fire District will be taking delivery of a 2016 Sutphen Custom Pumper soon. This rig will replace the recently retired Engine 89.
  17. Unionville Fire in Orange County has purchased a 2008 KME Predator Rescue Pumper with a 1500 gpm Pump and 1000 Gallon Tank. Designated as Engine 744 once in service, It will be replacing a 1999 Freightliner/ 3D Pumper 1250/750/40.

  26. Any update on Woodbury's Type III Wildland Engine? It's been a while since I heard anything on it. The 2010 Ford Brush Truck was auctioned off on Auctions International a few months ago.
