West Athens-LimeStreet Fire District in Greene County,NY will be taking delivery of a 2016 KME Predator Panther Engine Tanker sometime next week. It will be assigned as ETA 27-4 and will replace a 1995 International/Luverne Pumper. Will post pictures of its delivery next week.

UPDATE: Mountain View Fire Company has taken over fire protection for the Town of Greenville. They are now operating with Greenville Fire District's former Apparatus .

I was scrolling through Facebook just now and saw this post, from the Greenville Fire Department. It seems like so many local fire departments are disbanding lately, first Port Chester Career, and now Greenville. According to a source, the trucks were locked up in a chain link fenced in area at the firehouse, and that if members respond to any calls, they will be prosecuted and charged. I'm hearing rumors that Wawayanda (Slate Hill,NY) is replacing their 1988 ALF/LTI 100' RMA with a New Aerial. Can anyone confirm this?

Well, I'm sorry that I pointed it out. Thought It would be cool to point that out.

Catskill(Greene) will be taking delivery of a 2015 E-ONE Cyclone engine. Will be designated ETA 3-12. Replaces a 1982 Mack/Pierce ETA. Wetdown/dedication will be in the fall. Photos by CFC. Also, First rig to be equipped with a Roto-Ray in Greene County.

Picture quality isn't the best, but here's the latest apparatus update from Morningside VFD down here in Prince George's County, MD.
The refurb of the new-to-us Engine 827 is almost complete. Lettering was completed a few days ago. Still needs the Roto-Ray and the 27 on the grille, but so far she's looking pretty good.

Also, the new-to-us Ambulance 827 has arrived at a shop in Maryland. Its going to need a few months of TLC before its ready for the streets, but we're looking forward to placing this unit in service. Once it's completed, it will be the first time in many years that all of the apparatus in the station are owned by the company.
