Nice photos. Another one of those 1/2 PD 1/2 FD. I have noticed those much more often now. It probably looks like a parade when they get a call.. lol.
Also, the Mobile Command Unit, is also called THV's. (At least NYPD calls them that..)
What kind of camera do you use? Very clear. Thanks for sharing.

Being on scene for all 7 or so hours, all the fire departments involved did an outstanding job. Bravo to all the men & women who fought the blaze.

I also believe West Harrison and Chappaqua Fire go on standby in quarters.
It must be a different dispatch then, because I just listed all that from a recording I have of the L3 dispatch for the airport. They could dispatch them seperatley afterwards or something.

Nice photos, thank you for sharing. It would of been nice if they were seperated more, so you can get some good shots of each rig.
You still got the job done

Any chance of getting a flier for the station?
As of now this is all I was sent. I just noticed it was posted on a department's website, too. So one may possibly be sent out sooner or later, if so I will be sure to post it.

***Update*** Ralph has been moved to Wingate in Highland!! He sounds great and his out look is positive. He is in room #7G, visiting hours 10 to 8pm. He has come to terms that it will be at least 6 months before he is back on his feet. Please continue to pray for Ralph as he begins his rehabilitation.
Any idea on what will happen in terms of his position as chief? How many do they currently have?
Get well soon Chief!
-
Why would you need a Chief to call for a medevac? Any competent EMT or Medic should be able to asses the patient and their injuries. I don't see your correlation here?
Thats true. That was just an example. Having a chief travel 10+ minutes to get to the scene would more then likely run into a problem down the road, in a few different ways.
-
For a [poor] example..
Like today(or yesterday, whenever) someone fell off of something, and units got o/s quickly and determined Medevac would be needed, so they launched it very quickly. But, if a chief signed on and did not get on location for several minutes, the patient could worsen very quickly. A chief that lives in town or the surrounding towns/cities would probably work, but 30 miles away? much can change in the time it takes for that chief to arrive on location.
I hope this makes sense, and you folks get where I am going with this.

Congratulations, Hopewell Hose, on your 100 years of volunteering and giving your best to your community. I have only heard great things about your personnel, and wish you all many more years of making East Fishkill proud. Enjoy your party - you have well earned it!
Very well said.. That is absolutely true. Congrats Hopewell Hose, and many more to come!

Nitpicking here but it's "Vet" as in Veteran, not "Vette" like the corvette. Might want to change that.
Well he is leaning on a CorVETTE. So they probably did that because of the car, etc. If that makes sense.
-
Thanks. I watch the video almost daily just to hear my son say "car" while looking at Engine 118. Call me biased, but that's my favorite part.
Nothing wrong with that. And who knows maybe he was thinking about getting back in the Expedition to play around with the buttons.
