  1. I think where the problem for many people comes in is that one Officer fired and emptied a clip and then reloaded and continued firing. (I am not sure how many rounds he got off after he reloaded) But the possibility is there for him to fire 26 shots (not sure how many rounds a clip holds). 26 shots are half the total shots fired, and this came from one Officer. I personally would empty every thing I had until the car stopped.

  4. I was up in Albany today, so I figured I stop by and visit our friends at OFPC at Empire State Plaza and say hello. I had a very nice visit and was welcomed openly. So I asked if they had any Tot Finder stickers. I was told that OFPC does not use and issue them anymore, for two reasons the first one being that when people move and new tenants move in and don’t remove the sticker if they don’t have children causes a problem. I thought to myself well that’s really not a good reason and how often does that happen for them to stop issuing the sticker. The second reason really floored me because it is so twisted. The main reason why they don’t issue them anymore is because of child molesters. I never thought of those sick people when I looked at that sticker. Who would think that a small inexpensive tool as the Tot Finder would put a child in even more danger then a fire? Now here is the tough question. Do you think having the sticker in a window outweighs the danger of a child being abducted by a molester? This is a tough one to answer butI can see why OFPC does not sponser this anymore.

  6. Putnum County Layoffs http://www.rnntv.com/Global/link.asp?L=305649 , does this effect Emergency Services also? They are not mentioned in the article. Also is Putmum really hurting that bad? My sister in law lives in Lake Carmel and she receivied a notice from the school dist. that they are looking into or are going to eleminate the school bus service and pay the public 50 cents per mile to transport their children to school. I was also told that Putnum has a 75% foreclosure rate, is that possible? If this is true hang tough brothers and sisters of Putnum, I wish you all well and good luck, hang tough

  8. The article states this "Tickets will start at $1 a fare. Prices rise as the departure date approaches" So now the chances of getting a dollar fare maybe slimer.

  15. Working at Westchester County Airport this is what I have seen, Air Tran is always over booking there FLA flights, and asking for volunteers to give up there seats. But also on the same note when under booked they offer upgrades to business class for 60 dollars per segment, also when fog comes in to the airport Air Tran has no problem canceling flights. Now Jet Blue never over books also never offers any upgrades and very rarely canceling due to fog, they sit and wait it out until it lifts. As far as prices go AIr Tran is a little cheaper.
  16. Dont think it was the SCBA blowing up, think it as the tires in the trucks blowing out from the heat.
  17. Keep in mind vacguy the men and women of this war have not really come home as of yet. We did give the men and women of the last war a heros welcome in the canyon of heros on June 10, 1990. Some war heros were honored late such as the Koren War heros were honored only a few weeks later then the June 10th celebrtion and the Vietnam heros were honored twenty years after there war eneded. At least they were honored it may take this city some time to do it but we do remember them.

  22. Its just not teenagers, its adults too who are stupid. A British TV show back in September did a skit I guess you can say since it was a comedy show. Where they went into the streets of England looking for Americans asking them when 9/11 happened. Many got the year wrong, and many even got the date wrong even being asked when 9/11 happened. So go figure
  23.
