  1. why can't fred goldman just snap & kill this idiot. no one would blame him & i doubt any jury in the world would convict. i thought this cretin was going to busy himself combing the golf courses looking for the "real" killer. somehow he managed to miss the mirror in the clubhouse. how does the hypothetical murder in the book differ from the one he actually committed? would he totally cut nicole's head off this time? he's an animal who's outlived his usefullness when he killed 2 innocent people & should have been put down already. and let this be a lesson to any do-gooders out there who would try & return a pair of sunglasses they found ........................... don't go unarmed, there may be a dullusional, washed up athlete, b movie actor, bad commercial making, golf playing, blond white chick banging, bronco driving, bloody glove wearing idiot trying to kill you! hopefully mark furhman's writing the foreward. ol' nordberg needs to be taken down a peg or two. what a jerk, why am i not surprised.
  2. those guys were without doubt the slipperyest, sleaziest, bait & switch creeps i ever came across which made them perfect to waste their time getting prices, gathering info & compare vehicles and use as comparison shopping to make a deal with a more legitimate dealer. i'm not at all sorry their gone but they served a purpose and at least i didn't have to concern myself about taking the time of some honest guy.
  3. recently i went to white plains dodge to look at new trucks & found the place all boarded up. anyone know what happened? i guess this would explain not having seen their tv commercials in while.
  4. it's the good ol' kazakhstani dream, former gypsy catcher takes photos of "ladies making toilet". what's not to like?
  5. on a positive note, at least Harris won't be doing it again .............. at least not at speeds exceeding 20-30 mph.
  6. with the airport all the way on one side of the county what hours is this staffed & if only part time how fast can they be in the air if needed? is it equipped to do medevacs as well?
  7. thanks car 11, if you've got any photos of your old machines i'd enjoy seeing them in particular your squad 4. i don't think i've ever seen that. what did you guys use that for? has the new tanker been ordered yet & E1 is getting a little old. any replacement being discussed?
  8. mandating underwear? assinine! everything associated with running a fire dept. & that's the biggest problem they could find to deal with let alone throw 16k at it. history has shown administrators unable to deal with real, challenging issues will pick something idiotic to make a stand on so they can fool themselves they're really making a difference. this is absurd.
  9. that's incredible that so many retired machines from 1 dept are still in the area. what does "old faithful" currently own & anyone have any photos of these old new canaan engines (& truck)?
  10. i looked at all 3 (ford, gm & dodge) when buying my truck. i don't like the duramax because of the iron block & aluminum heads being dissimilar metals and all that heat & high compression. however it's a gm/isuzu engine & appears to be a good motor. at the time i was looking ford had just released the new powerstroke and it was a total piece of sh!t. computer problems, sudden loss of power, leaks & more. new trucks sitting on the lot even had puddles under them. ford has since fixed the problems & appears to be ok. i chose the dodge because i like the cummins. it's been around a long time & is actually a medium duty diesel w/ incredible power. because of the new '07 low sulpher engine emissions coming out do yourself a favor & buy an '06 or older but stay away from the pre 94 non-powerstroke fords. they're non-turbo & slow. if i was going to buy a truck today i'd either get another dodge or try a ford. as far as mileage i get about 18mpg around town.
  11. "as someone with an adolescent mother in-law and a dysfunctional, anti-social, socially retarded brother in-law i'm all too familiar with people like this. their lack of maturity, common sense, rational, reasoning, empathy, compassion and inability to restrain themselves from giving in to every primal, self serving, self indulgent urge is mind boggling. people like this make my skin crawl." it still amazes me how many seinfeld episodes i'm able to relate to due to these people ........... as well as deliverance, grapes of wrath, beverly hillbillies, green acres, cops and that show with corky the retarded kid. if you have relatively normal inlaws be greatful.
  12. i can only hope the first 67 shots were non-lethal and only caused unbearable, excruciating pain before being put out of our misery with the final shot. they should have taken his bullet-ridden corpse & tied it to the back of a d.a.r.e car dragging it through the streets so every one could see what happens when you're nothing but a sociopathic piece of s^%t cop-killer. too bad they only fired 110 shots. anyone shedding a tear for this cretin is as worthless as he was. i'd be perfectly content if they just dropped the corpse off in a vacant lot to be gnawed & eaten by racoons & feral dogs.
  13. excessive?????? no, just taking out the garbage & getting a little target practice in at the same time. it's refreshing & about time a piece of garbage be handled like a piece of garbage & nice to see officials able to be candid & honest about their feelings, intentions & motivation without having to fear reprisal or called "insensitive" by pacifist, naive, arm chair cowards that thrive on turning garbage like this into victims. good ridance you piece of s%%t, burn in hell.
  14. glenbrook 1963 s open cab engine 33 turn of river 1986 mack superliner tanker 68 bedford had a 1960's s and i think glenville had one as well. don't know if either still have them
  15. out of curiosity, when a new machine arrives at a comany's quarters has it already been fully equipped and ready to go in service or does each company have to switch over some/all equipment and who determines where everything goes? if the machine shows up fully equipped is the captain of that house/company able to request certain things be placed where he wants or has it already been determined & standardized at a higher level?
