I have a bc246t trunktracker 111 i am trying to program in these freq. , but when prompted what type of syst? conventional,mot,edcs,lt, what am i supposed to put?

I agree with DCcurtis, this is all about nonproductive post's. This is clearly a nonproductive post and should be solved through private e-mail "BATTLES" And for this thread starter You should start your own web site...where you can talk about anything you want too how ever you want to and run it how ever you want too... This site has rules and regulations so just abide by them... This is all just my 2 cents. I dont post that often on here but def. read almost every post and try to gain as much info and knowledge that i can... If you are in a topic that gets shut down there was a reason, it must have broken some sort of site rule and was not being productive... So instead of starting an argument thread try starting a new thread about the same topic but try being more productive so maybe it will stay up... If then it turns into a non topic and just bashing........ the site admin. can see who starts the thread going sour and can deal with them PRIVATELY... I hope this doent get shut down until people can read it.... This is truely a great web site. and unique there not many sites out there like this.... At some point they all turn into the same unproffesional talk , cursing and slamming everyone but yourself..... Seth I dont know you personaly, but know people who know you (of course) and this site must take alot of work to keep it clean and NOT LIKE EVERY OTHER WEB SITE ON THE NET. Keep up the good work maintaining such a PROFFESIONAL style web site with up to date info and topics. As a side note if you ever get fed up of all the bull. and shut this site down my wife would have to find something else to yell at me about... and i am starting to get used to saying "honey I'll be off in a minute" Keep up the good work

I am looking into getting personal safety rope. Just hoping someone could give me some good info , such as size(thickness) type,where to buy,how are they rated..etc. Basically what I should be looking for,and what is evryone else usi ng and happy with. Thanks in advance. Sean

Thanks for all the info.. That was my only concern about the webbing with wet gloves. But firediver mentioned what he uses is different from what I think I was thinking of. I like the rest of you hope I never have to use it, but def. want to train more with it and have some on me at all times.. I am going to take into consideration everything you guys have mentioned...Thanks again

yes I have taken survival.. great class..... recommend it to every firefighter. thanks for the info. I will look into those setups. The reason I was asking was to get input on what people have like,and dislike.

Man How disapointing........ First I would like to say that I am one of those people who like to sit back and read alot of these posts and not only gain some info, but on the way learn a thing or two, why? maybe because i dont feel i have much to contribute yet, and.....i guess thats just the way i am. So here is a perfect topic to discuss what people think mthey might have done or what could have been done different. Why? because we are sitting at a computer watching this on a screen and not actually there. I could have thought of a number of things that i would have done different. As first responders we try our best to be prepared for every situation thrown at us, but you cant allways be ready for everything. I think that this was a spur of the moment action that i am sure he is looking back and finding things he would do different , from arrival at sceene and so on.. That is what learning and being prepared is all about.. If this happens to any of you who saw this video it will be in your mind of maybe what not to do.... So if this is a LEARNING situation and post... (here comes the dissapointing part) Why half way through reading the responses SOMEONE HAS TO RUIN IT BY TURNING THIS INTO A PROFESSIONAL VS VOLUNTEER situation????????????? Instead of hearing your neg. garbage lets hear what YOU would do differently, since you seem to be sooo educated in all situations. These items are selling for around $100 and i have also found a figure of a fdny replica with fdny gear pathches t shirt etc.... this is a rare item selling for like over $200 on ebay... i thought it was really cool the detail is awsome...

Yeah we are going to be getting a new boat, we should have had it already, but i guess things have been delayed, and dont expect it till probably 07 or 08 I dont really know the details, but i am assuming it has to do with grants and $$$ but by the looks of it the boat is awsome..... i will try to get some specs on it and report back...

does anyone know if there are any places that use a system that when the tones go off.... a light is activated on a large map at fire house to show street location?? or something of this technology???

I have a ? after completing ff1 are you allowed to be an interior ff or do you have to take intermediate and ff2?
