  1. Nice photos! Thanks for sharing, the Red and Black look good, especially on Car 1! -Joe DA BUFF
  2. That rig has a near twin in Elizabeth (but available to all of Union County), a rig carrying 12 inch hose and another thousand odd gallons of Foam! I guess the Ports justify these rigs! THanks for sharing the photos! -Joe DA BUFF
  3. God Bless Firefighter Payne, thank you for your service and sacrifice, and May God Hold You in the Palm of His Hand. -Joe DA BUFF
  4. God Bless Firefighter Cahill and May God Hold Him in the Palm of His Hand. Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. -Joe DA BUFF
  5. Studying! -Joe DA BUFF
  6. Now there's something you don't see everyday... Fire Chief's Car becomes a Police Car! Usually it's the other way around. I didn't even realize Village of Brewster had a P.D..... Is it new or something? -Joe DA BUFF, who remembers reading about how Mineola almost established a P.D. in '05!
  7. One of these days this would happen. There are more important things than property development and building McMansions for reach cheese-eaters. I wonder what happens in communities without Tankers. Ah well. -Joe DA BUFF
  8. Well, since Brush Fire Season is here/coming, here's my collection of Brush and related rigs: http://web.mac.com/resq4spidey/iWeb/Site/J...ush%20Rigs.html Mad Max is my favorite in that group! Your thoughts? And your Brush Rig Photos? Thanks! -Joe DA BUFF

  10. I noticed in the events listing that Ossining is on August 8th....According to Ossining's website, it's August 3rd. Can someone confirm/deny? Thanks. Ossining was GREAT fun last year. -Joe DA BUFF
  11. It was an awesome parade! For something different: http://web.mac.com/resq4spidey/iWeb/Site/R...,%208-3-07.html The West Side of the Hudson Marching, as it were! Enjoy! -Joe DA BUFF
  12. Nice photos all around! Thanks for sharing. -Joe DA BUFF, who will have some "vacation" shots himself fairly soon!
  13. Once more.... (because I have miles to drive to get there and ideally will be meeting someone), it will be 1900? Oh and is the route still along 133? Thanks! -Joe DA BUFF, who appreciates everyone answering his repeated inquires!
  14. Nice photos all around! Thanks for sharing, there were some rigs I had never seen before, like Pawling or 11-4-2! Nice rig!!!! Thanks again! -Joe DA BUFF

  18. One word for that rig: IMPRESSIVE. I hope she shines on in your collection for years to come! Absolutely outstanding and beautiful! -Joe DA BUFF
  19. From one Joe to another, Happy Belated Birthday! -Joe DA BUFF
  20. As I said on my away message, David Chase obviously didn't see the original ending to Star Trek:Generations. That in and of itself is a story. But I won't tell it here. Too bad about the ending. Oh well. -Joe DA BUFF
  21. That's exactly what a Die-Cast dealer said to me the other day. About Code 3 getting stale. Shame, soon there'll be no top quality 1/64 diecast out there. I have to say, I won't be too worried about Code 3 going under. The rigs were crazily expensive, and to an extent you got your money's worth. But, they didn't branch out enough. Ah well. Just my two cents. -Joe DA BUFF, who's happy with his collection, but, wouldn't have minded adding a Light Rescue and a Brush Truck. Ah well. P.S. Stepjam- Well done with your CDF Kitbash. I woulda posted in the original topic, but it was closed. I was very impressed.
  22. A Hemi-Powered Ambulance..... In the words of Borat, NIIIIIIIIIICE! -Joe DA BUFF
  23. Hey Seth.... If memory serves, Nyack had a Young Rescue, so did North Tarrytown (which was the subject of an earlier thread I made.... See: http://emtbravo.net/index.php?showtopic=13856), and there was the Manhasset-Lakeville Tiller. As to the fates of those rigs, I don't know... but, I hope this helps! -Joe DA BUFF
  24. THis is a very fascinating system Seth. Best of luck with it, I know I'll try and take full advantage! -Joe DA BUFF
  25. Thanks for sharing that one.... That's the first time since.... 1989? that Chrysler has had a lineup? (I know the Jeep Cherokee was a package in the interim... but I can't remember if the Intrepid ever qualified on its own for a package.) Thanks for sharing! And here's to Dodge being back. -Joe DA BUFF
