  1. Keep it there!!
  2. why mamaroneck is it because of the parade is it because of the carnival it gives you something for you to do after It's the biggest, most anticipated parade in lower Westchester, I think. My company has always been the host company for Port Chester. I see alot of people I know durring the parade and there's always an excellent turnout by both firefighters and spectators. And the carnival at the end is always fun.
  3. This tower was used to broadcast alarms for Rye and Mamaroneck a few months ago when the W.F. tower in Mamaroneck was down. It broadcasts over 46.26.

  5. Conan!!
  6. Some departments have different companies. If your company isn't called to the alarm or not on stand-by, maybe a member of that 'not called' company would write the IA.
  7. Port Chester had a 3-wheel Knox tractor and tiller way back when.
  8. I know it's a bucket. I forgot to use the  face for sarcasm! It's probably still sitting down there someplace.
  9. I'm sure that rescue truck saw some action this morning on I-95.
  10. By the looks of the sanded down body piece under the front bumper, maybe they might be overhauling it a little...maybe it will go back in service as something else.
  11. If 2 tires came off, then both weren't on tight because you have to tighten the lug nuts onto the axle first. Usually they have left-hand threads on the inside with right-hand threads on the outside in order to tighten down the outer wheel. So something seriously wasn't right. Or maybe they weren't tightened in a star pattern. Could have been a few different things.
  12. Hey just because my car doesn't go into reverse doesn't mean I can't see a movie. I should have my new truck anyday now though.
  13. Is there room for 2,500 cars?? lol
  14. CT state PD uses Expeditions too. All of their cars have no lettering or decals either...Real sneaky.
  15. I believe Bedford does the same. 60 dispatches and then the Bedford base will re-transmit the alarm shortly after.
  16. The Connecticut state P.D. still use the 2001 and newer Ford Taurus. They are regular colors and they don't have tinted windows. They are hard to spot...even when you know they're out there.
  17. The City of Rye has black & white police cars.
  18. Malco makes good detailing products but I don't think they sell it in stores...gotta be hooked up with the supplier/distributor.
  19. In between the entrance and exit doors to the "Home Depot" in New Rochelle, there is a guy named Frank who serves an awsome breakfast and lunch(deli style) from a small, pre-fabricated shed converted into a kitchen. It's better then the two delis on Drake Ave. But don't forget about HUBBA'S!!!
  20. The old E-60 was spotted driving past Station 4 on Westchester Ave. at 18:15 today. What's going on with it??
  21. Have it as a topic under "Fire & Rescue"
