My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and comrades of Sgt. Aponte, who made the ultimate sacrifice after colliding with another cruiser at approximately 2330 last night. Best luck and wishes to Officer Diane Gonzales, who is still in extremely serious condition. Thank you both for your sacrifice.

My friend was working that night at Yale University PD which is a division of NHPD. I talked to him this morning and it was not a good night. Officer Gonzales is still in critical condition and the department let alone the city and area is in morning.

By what I hear Dario was an upstanding guy, taken too soon, RIP. Pray for Diane so she can recover and get home to her family as well.
