The Passing Of Eastchester Firefighter Joe Liucci

The Officers and Members of IAFF Local 916 regret to announce the passing of active member Joseph Liucci. Joe passed away suddenly, while at home on May 5th, 2010 and was a Firefighter assigned to Ladder 16, Group 3. Joe was a 20 year veteran of the Eastchester Fire District. The entire membership of Local 916 grieves with the Liucci Family in the sudden loss of our friend and Brother Joe. Funeral arrangements to follow.

Wake: Westchester Funeral Home, 190 Main St. Eastchester, NY 10709

Visiting Hours - Friday 5/7/10 4:00pm to 9:00pm

Saturday 5/8/10 10:00am to 11:30AM

Funeral: Assumption Church, 100 Pleasant Ave. Tuckahoe, NY 10709 12:00 Noon

Internment: Ferncliff - 280-284 Secor Rd., Hartsdale, NY 10530 immediately following church service.

Farewell Joe! I will always remember the good days of playing flag(tackle) football at Gorton HS. My body still hurts thinking about it....Rest in peace....You will always be remembered.....

Joe Liucci, quiet unassuming and always effective. The example of the strong gentleman firefighter. A friend to all who knew him. Hammer, we miss you already. Rest in Peace.
