I believe that Rye's ladder 25 was one of the last ones built.

As I recall when Rye's Ladder 25 was delivered it was the last scheduled one. I believe the reason they stopped, was they could not get the needed air flow into the new motors(emisssions). Rye had bought a crate motor prior to purchasing the ladder just to avoid emisssions and ensure the low pro style.

Lynbrook (Nassau Co.) has what I believe was the last one. 2008 model.

Thanks Nate, wow I don't even remember that lol. I was just looking on Seagrave's site to see what other chasis they make nowadays, and saw only the Marauder II. A lot of departments NEEDED the Lo-Pro, and it's too bad the EPA cost that chasis it's dearh. Seagrave is a custom builder, so I doubt it had anything to do with the amount sold if they already have the plans and tooling.

Does anyone know if their are plans to come out with something equivalent?

The FDNY had a few of these ladders back in the early 90's. I know that Ladder 38 and Ladder 165 had them. I also think they were 105 foot aerials.
