Thank you. In addition to being a "Cop's Cop", John also loved the big red trucks...he loved to chase the PFD and was a great Crime Scene Technician who documented many a Poughkeepsie fire.

I hope to see alot of firemen standing shoulder to shoulder with the police.

There will be a candle light vigil for Officer Falcone tonight.

Any interested persons, MOS or not, should meet at Poughkeepsie City Hall or the italian Center (opposite the police apron), the procession will go from there at 1845 to Main St and railroad Avenue for the vigil, at 1900.

Uniforms are not required.

EDIT; DUE TO A REMARKABLE EXPECTED ATTENDANCE, ALL PARTIES ATTENDING ARE REQUESTED TO REPORT DIRECTLY TO THE AREA OF THE TRAIN STATION AND NOT THE ITAILAN CENTER OR CITY HALL.

Parking will be available at City Hall parking deck (entrnaxce on Mill St opposite the Grand Hotel) or any other city lot.
