It will be pretty awesome to see it in service at HQ. By the way, is the old 21's going to be a spare, i.e., Engine 17 or 19?

No apparatus is located at HQ (our admin offices). It will be inservice at station #1 and the old unit will be Eng 17

So, the week of either the 11th or 18th of Mid-July?

I think he's trying to say when it's ready to go in service, it will go into service. There are a lot of factors that go into putting an several hundred thousand dollar state of the art fire engine into service- including training, radio and equipment mounts, delivery acceptance tests, driver familization, etc etc. When it goes into service, I'm sure it will be announced here (unless you are trying to plan your summer vacation around it, lol)

My nephew with E21.....if he looks less than imprssed it's because HIS grandfather is a retired YONKERS Truckie. LOL

Very nice peice though, obviously well thought out. Good luck with it.
