Schenectady is in NY. Outside Albany as a reference. They very busy with a lot of fire duty while being under staffed and sometimes under equiped.

I have always loved their metallic gold over red. It really popped on their ALFs.

I like that Rosenbauer Engine 3.....appears to be their newest engine....wonder if they have any more on order? Rosenbauer seems to be up and coming, especially after securing the Chicago Squad and Baltimore County contracts. And the Commander chasis has really grown on me. Wonder when they'll make their way down to the lower Hudson Valley?

Unfortunately those ALFs were leased and had to be returned. Engine 12 was an ALF bought by the FD and remains as Reserve Engine 12.

Schenectady's Reserve fleet is unique as the majority of the apparatus did not serve as front line pieces for the department. Reserve Engine 10 is a Pierce from Rotterdam, NY Fire District 2 and Reserve Engine 14 is a Hahn Snorkel(Snorkel removed a few years ago) from South Schenectady(Rotterdam, NY) FD.
