Stamford's New Engine 9 - 2013 KME Predator Severe Service

AWESOME! I love the new paint scheme, and the fact Stamford is going with a real fire apparatus manufacturer finally!

I think mstrang1 will be behind the wheel of this. Will be in service soon.

Congrats to the SFRD! They really deserve a good, reliable rig. Hopefully that's what they're getting. I heard a lot of time and effort went into the final design so I hope everything works out for the dept.

I believe, in addition to Engine's 9, 8, and 1, they will be looking to replace a Truck Co. with a new KME in the near future.

I believe you have more uses from Class B foam than you would Class A. Not being a foam expert, but I believe Class A can't be used on liquid fires, where Class B could be used on many Class A type fires.

While it can be used on A...very expensive to do so and of no value.

Because we felt is was time for a change and most did not have a favorable opinion of the previous look.
