Westchester Medical Center not accepting certain ACA plans

If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. Right?

also New York Presbyterian Sloan Kettering and white plains hospital... I am sure more will be jumping on the band wagon soon... i wonder why though

Why? It's all about the money. The hospitals don't feel they are getting enough reimbursement under these systems

There have always been limitations/restrictions or whatever you'd like to call it on what plans/HMO's are accepted by facilities and/or doctors.

Why is this any different than any other time?

Politics, that's why.

In the past its generally been between the insurance industry and the healthcare industries. What's different now, the government is in the middle of this.
