Yonkers New CBRNE Unit Coming Soon

6 posts in this topic

Is this for PD or FD?

Yonkers has a Kenworth T440 Extended Cab / Hackney CBRNE Response vehicle with a 25 foot, 8 compartment body on order, with delivery expected in May. Will have full length "coffin" compartments on the roof, and a command center at the rear of the body. Will also be equipped with a Wil-Burt Night Scan light tower and camera tower.

Why? They have some great grant writers there.

Many of their "grants" they did not write, they were given because of their population & location, including Nann/Luger, UASI, SUSAP, & MMR. Nothing wrong with it, that's the same way NYC gets much of its homeland security funds.
