Ford 8000 Oil Delivery Truck

I'm sure there a million of these running around but was surprised when i saw it. Thought they are pretty cool looking. There is also a Autocar chassis in Yonkers I,m going to try and photograph one day.

Last made in 1990, longest run chassis in history.1958 till 1990 built by the Budd cab company for Ford , Mack, FWD, Walter, There are still many running around Westchester on the Ford chassis

good work truck always had loose shifting patterns, had to open vent window on passenger side to shift into 4th gear

Mount Vernon FD also had several Ford/E-1 pumpers.I think they were 1986 models....
