  1. Is there any formal investigation, or any ideas how to start one. I have heard all kinds of things about this guy. If he treats litigation aganst people who question him, he must be hiding something. Are his threats aganst those who challenge him valid? Can you question it without the fear of being sued? Can you present stuff to investigators, Anonymously? Is there some way look up his funds used being its a "Charity"

  10. NY10570 was one of the original wave of members here with EMTbravo, joining in 2004. The fact that he stood here and took the time to help us all become better emergency providers, proves that one person can make the world better. While I never had the pleasure of meeting him, I have had the pleasure of working with member of the EMS FAMILY, that he leaves behind, and take part of his many discussions here on EMTbravo. He was very pro EMS and tried to make EMS an equal provider, and not the bastard step child it is today. . It is a shame we have to say goodbye to a great man like him, but as long as this site is here, people can learn from him, for many years to come. RIP brother, and may you, your family, and friends find peace in god

  17. I do believe it should be an FD response only, if the person isnt complaining of any injury, why should an ambulance be taken out of service to better sever the community its in. If the propper questions are asked, then thete is no need to tie up resourses. Noe if they is some sort of underline issue, like they got dizzy, or chest pain, for example then ofcourse dispatch an ambulance , but I feel it all comes to dispatch. I have read eveyones post, and this is my opinon..
  18. Bumping the thread... Its this thursday, Please try your best to come out and support the family. No one ever wants to loose a child, but to loose a child and worry about the financial side of life adds to the stress.

  24. Goes by years of experience as an EMT-B/EMT-P as your base pay. Then for every shift you work as a dispatcher, you get a stipend. Atleast that what it was when I was there.
  25. wow.. How long have you been doing career EMS? You gripe about how money needs to be higher for paramedics and EMT's yet you shoot down the most influential and logical way of doing? You said you worked for a union for citywide.. Funny i never knew they had one. Was this for the ambulete or ambulance divison. Your on here asking about jobs, saying that no one is hiring.. Well I know for a fact that Empress is hiring as is transcare. The only thing is to work for empress you must be in the union. They dont give you a choice. is that a reason why you dont want to work there cause they are unionized?. It EMS brothers like you who make it harder for the rest of us to further our careers and livelihood. While you are untitled to your opinion. I would strongly incourage you to look at unions openmindedly.. Cause with out unions in certin companys. You would make a fraction of what is considered starting pay in this area, and there would be nothing you could do, short of loosing your job to get fair rights.. ( not sighting any specific company just making a generalized statement)
