Sadly NONE! And this is much to the detriment of the public and the firefighters. No one else has 5 man trucks and everyone else wishes and should. What is your angle man? You don't seem to get it. You could close half the firehouses, but you'll never voluntarily get that staffing.....it's that important. If it takes us longer to get there, that's on the city's hands. I wouldn't volunteer the position that allows us to do our job effectively and safely.
Like I said, not my job to adequately cover the city, it IS our job to be the best unit when we get there.
A fire engine/truck is nothing more than a tool box. The men inside are the tools. What good is a big fancy tool box with no tools.....

From the trailer it looks like another BS show, Can't have a nose cup in the mask it blocks their face, why have rope protection on the hand rail, I know our drivers always yell some motavating comment. Guys with no shirts, drama, BS. They should show what it is really like. Practical jokes off set by conversations on how the city is laying guys off and taking away benifits. I agree bring back emergency.

Clearly this should have been handled by Law Enforcement and not the FD. A periemeter should have been set up along with ESU and a Hostage/Crisis Negotiator called in to open a dialogue with the E.D.F. (Emotinally Disturbed Feline).

Don't be so quick to judge. This is a great concept and currently I am lobbying my dept to allow Holle Berry to be the third wheel in my E-Wagon while on patrol. Maury Povich has shown a strong interest in it.....
