  1. Nice photos, thanks for sharing.
  2. Ditto, is that a boat on top of 55? How easy is that to get down?
  3. I hadn't seen that video yet, what a blowout. That telephone pole ceased to be operational afterward. Nice find, thanks for sharing!
  4. I wasn't questioning the validity of Brother Reardon's passing, just was saying that from my view the story came across here sooner than it did elsewhere that I visit (FH.com, FE.com, Fire Geezer, TSL, etc.) I see that it was elsewhere first in places I don't regularly check. I was merely stating an observation. Regarldess, I wish the family the best possible during this assured difficult time.
  5. Half an hour on AFA's, hour or two for MVA's, we avg at an hour from tones to in service for EMS runs. Couple of hours for fires. Sorry about my bad typing I just hurt my finger, meh.
  6. Are we very ahead of the loop? I have not seen this break on the national scene yet, a very small article on FH.com but not on the headlines... I'll say again, RIP Brother Reardon.
  7. From what I understand via FireGeezer and http://www.sconfire.com/, they are consolidating back to their SC plant.
  8. RIP Mrs. Sartori, your contribution to the community will not be forgotten. My condolences to the Sartori family, and all effected by this loss.
  9. Good job to L2 for popping the door. Nice shots Mark, I wish I was in town this morning for the call.
  10. Happy Birthday Mark and Nate as well. Happy Birthday to all!
  11. Git 'R Done. Happy Birthday!
  12. Yeah, Wahoo is with us in the North East Training Association. Love the names. Have fun y'all this weekend.
  13. RIP To the Cap and Rook from Houston.
  14. Stay safe everyone and have a good day! EFFD and Lakeville Hose just were dispatched for fires themselves, BE SAFE.
  15. A similar ad runs on 107.7 WGNA FM with a theme of the recent ice storms. Some folks in Northern Dutchess have probably heard it because the signal fades just past Amenia. But I think something like that focused at the HV would be a good idea.
  16. RIP and my condolences to all affected and involved.
  17. Lol, mmmm. TACTICAL TUPPERWARE!
  18. Great shots everyone. It was a great time, good job to the boys from Amenia on putting together a good show.
  19. I like the back end, all attention can be emphasized on awareness and safety. Almost looks like a refurbed coke truck or something. Either way - nice rig.
  20. Matching RPM's to the speed of the gear you wish to shift into. It is necessary to do with our 13 as the transmission isn't synchronized. Hope I explained that right, although I probably did not. From my experience it has been hard for some, and easy for others. I think it depends on how often you drive a standard and confidence, speed of learning, etc.
  21. I have seen that around the area in Hudson. To be specific, the Wal-Mart PChops Plaza there.
  22. I am not personally a fan of roto-rays, but I like the dual tri-color thing these jakes have done.
