Idk, I do know Philadelphia has new KMEs.

Normally, coming up out of the front bumper on the Officer's side is an intake, with the discharge coming up out of the bumper on the Driver's side. According to this article http://www.seagrave....FDNY_Nov 08.pdf FDNY added an additional intake in the front of the bumper.
Oh, so I was almost right, lol. So two intakes and a trashline...

Man, I love those boats ever since the Coast Guard started using them!

If they have a star of life in the cap window they are EMS conditions cars operated by an EMS Lt or occasionally a Captain. A while back the department ordered several of these vehicles, 80 I believe. 40 went to Fire Battalions and 40 EMS. The Fire and EMS versions have different slide out trays.
Also, don't EMS Divisions run red Impalas...

whats on the front bumpers,LDH intake and driver side discharge?just asking.
The connection in the bumper is a intake, and both swiveled elbows on top are discharges.

The department that I used to belong to was looking into a Walk-In with a small tank and a pump, or even a CAFS system. They were looking into a commercial cab, but I would rather see a custom.

Westchester Has an ESU program already I believe, so probably just updating apparatus.
-
Are you talking about Glenville Fire District in Greenwich...?
-
I'm guessing ESU... Anyone know how old their current truck is? Plus, I would have painted the hood blue as well, IMO.

I saw one in Croton-on-Hudson yesterday in the yard.

"We understand the hardship this places on fire departments, and so have introduced a buy-back grant program where departments can apply for money to buy equipment at auction,"What??? We will take back trucks purchased with grant money but create a grant program so you have money to buy it back.....If that was a true quote, then that is pretty much a circle, lol.

Some NYRA officers in Saratoga carry firearms, But those who do carry are the "Senior Citizens" of the force and usually carry older revolvers in deteriorating holsters...
