    There were Numerous mechanical issues with the last 2 international / horton's Infact there's talk of rechassising one on to the Ford F 450 chassis I also believe the can fit all four rigs in their building  The Freightliner's had their issues early on but held up quite well

    Nyack (Rockland Co.) took delivery of two new KME pumpers yesterday.  They will be assigned to Jackson Hose #3 and Highland Hose #5, replacing a 1984 Hahn and 1985 Pierce Arrow, respectively.   

    Them Nyack KME's are some Sweet looking pumpers Nice low hose beds I'll miss the Hahn Another one leaving us

    According to their Facebook page The new Engine 5's going to the northern end firehouse & Engine 1's moving to Headquarters (better for us up in Englewood Cliffs  Fort Lee lol)

    Oh yeah you guys up there are very well equipped Do you guys own that snowblower  or is it rented seasonally They can only dream of one where I live in Englewood Cliffs  nothing for nothing we are well equipped DPW But no large Snowblower for road clearing They use the front end loader for  shoulders  & a. Bob cat  as well btw we have a few  DPW/vollies on our DPW Here's the Screwed up part out of town employees of the DPW that Volunteer in their hometowns are not allowed to be members of our Dept but there's talk of changing that
