The difference is that the Bcd536hp requires no programing just enter ur zip code and it will scan every thing in the radio references database for your area. The bcd996p2 requires you to program it.

I don't understand why there is opposition to responding in emergency mode to cover. Clearly you shouldn't respond as you would to a 10-75, but you need to get where you're going and quickly. When we relocate to another company to cover, we respond in emergency mode, slow and steady, but lights and siren non the less.
You're relocating to another area because at that moment there is inadequate fire protection there. What good am I to the people in, say Riverdale, if I'm 150 blocks away and a 1st due alarm comes in for fire, or anything else? When return, you drive with traffic.

Obviously you must be tired ...because you sure do yawn a lot..it must take a toll on you to sit behind a computer judging other peoples decisions. Nobody knows what they were thinking and why they did what they did, it's just not appropriate at this time to explain to the members of this forum what an amazing, clear thinking decision maker YOU are....also between your yawns maybe you can answer the question about where is your utter contempt when firemen take police action?
