  1. Shot as they come down Washington to P'ville HQ
  2. Schnibbe was a great guy, always positive and cheerful along with Professional. My Thoughts and prayers go out to the Schnibbe Family, The Hastings-On-Hudson FD and Especially the Protection Eng. Co. May he always be remembered. Only Heard good things about him. He will be Greatly Missed by the Fire Service Family.
  3. I loved that truck, I don't really know why but it was a good classic looking rescue to me. That picture is from the 1995 Main St. Fire, Looks like the following day.
  4. Not always true depending on Department, but yes there are other ways of being able to be designated. Also it keeps down on cost. Higher ups or IC related personnel such as Safety Officers, and Deputy Chiefs having titles makes sense, some others really don't. But yes some can get carried away with it.
  5. Same for me, we might have a bit of a bidding war going.....lol
  6. Who is the new Battalion Himself?
  7. A Subject that alot have Alot to say about. Control Seems like the way. Atleast from what has been happening lately. Maybe its just me? Screw Ups are really not excepatable by any one when some ones life is concerned.
  8. Yeah, I second that Question. This is a nice looking Rig, But would really like to know its actual Purpose. I know Independentt Fire Company Runs Tower 49 & Rescue 9.
  9. Yes, Ossining Ran a Rescue on a Ford C-Model and did Mt. Kisco. Really unsure on years though. Also West Nyack in Rockland ran a Rescue looking similar to these two aswell, but was white over Yellow.
  10. That's a great night Waiting patiently for that

  14. I got Ya SQUADco119
  15. Have Seen some FD Units (Mostly Utlitys) that have Plow Mounts on them. I believe Car 2173 or 2174 Hartsdale has a plow mount. I think Fairview Also has a plow mount on there new Utility. I Can recall Mohegan Years ago having a old Suburban circa early 80's Having a plow on it aswell. Shaker Road-Loudonville up in Albany area has a Pick-up with a Plow, Wouldn't be a Bad Idea. But on another note DPW's also have to plow the Firehouses aswell so atleast the rigs can get out, but thats another subject.
  16. Definitly has it advantages on both sides, It really comes down to your needs. I have talked to a few on this subject before and they all give good Reasons why either or is Better. It seems to be that Small Pumps on Rescues are becoming more and more Popular. And Also u can have the Best of Both Worlds Like Sleepy Hollows Rescue and Run a International Crew Cab with a Walk-in Body. Personaly I am a Fan of a Walk-in but with adequate Compartment Space.
  17. Looking Great Guys!! Can't wait to take shots of it.
  18. Since We had the topic in the past few days on your prefrence of gear color. What do you think about color coding Helmets to signify Officers, Etc. Also I know that Nyack in Rockland also goes as far as Color coding Company Helmets. For Instance: Millwood: Chief: White/ Capt.: Red/ Lt.'s: Yellow/ Safety Officer: Blue Briarcliff: Chiefs: White/ Officers: Red/ Ladder Co.: Yellow
  19. Nice Shots
