A Mobile Life crew was involved in a serious injury mva with extrication and a medevac this morning on Rt 32 in Bloomington (Ulster County). Please send prayers for the crew and the whole Mobile Life family
From the Mobile Life Facebook site:
As some of you already know, there was a severe accident involving a Mobile Life ambulance this morning. We ask that you not speculate, and, if you are aware of any information, that you not post anything on Facebook. We also ask that you not call or text dispatch, administrators, or supervisors requesting information. They are very busy handling this incident and not all of the information is available yet. We will keep everyone posted when the time comes. Thank you to everyone who has been showing us support this morning.

Mount Hope forms its own fire department, splits from Otisville - The Mount Hope Fire Company will become the 53rd fire department in Orange County. But as our Christian Farrell reports, there are some people who question whether another fire company is such a hot idea.

We only see what's in the news but this person may have given the officers a hard time and with his other infractions they decided to stick it to him

What difference does it make if a person has 9 bullets in a magazine or 9 magazines with 7 bullets = Cuomo is stupid!

Fireground Commentary: Ignore the photographersChief Wylie examines the recent incident involving a paramedic captain and a video recording bystander and why in most cases it's best to ignore the photo-taking public.

Great commentary, unfortunately some people don't think when handling these situations (on both sides).

Lomontville firefighter dies when car falls on him
A former assistant chief of the Lomontville Fire Department was killed Wednesday by a car that fell on him as he worked underneath it.
Frederick Schussler Jr., 59, was working under the car on his property at 636 Lapla Road in the Marbletown hamlet of Lomontville when the jack holding up the vehicle slipped and the car fell about 11:20 a.m., according to Ulster County Undersheriff Frank Faluotico.
Schussler was pronounced dead at the scene by Mobile Life paramedics, Faluotico said.
Fred was a former assistant chief and life member of the Lomontville Fire Department and served on the department’s Board of Commissioners.
