  3. OK Update

The truck is done just putting a few decals on and will be heading to 4guys Sunday to do final inspection on Monday. As soon as we approve the truck it will be heading to The New England Chiefs Show In Massachusetts. The show is June 22,23, & 24. The fire company will be attending the show Sunday. We will then drive the new SQUAD home Sunday afternoon and attempt to put into service Monday the 25, I am very pleased with the work 4 Guys did for us. We have set a date for our WETDOWN August 4, 2012. Hoping to see everyone stop by and see the new rig and hang out for the day. I do have some updated photos but will wait until final inspection day to post.

  4. What does your department do when a volunteer firefighter that wants to transfer from there current department to your department. What are your department procedures?

Example what would your company do? Member transferred to your company from another department. Then a year later leaves to go to another company to only go back to his or her original Department from the start. Now wants to come back to your company again with no reason why they left in the first place. What would your company our department do? Sounds confusing doesn't it.

  5. Building the specs for our new pumper. On the spartan chassis we are getting the multi plex system on the driver and officer side. Can you hook up your siren controls on the multi plex system? Also does the siren control box still need to be mounted in dash our is it a separate control box.

  6. Not sure if this is the appropriate forum to start this, and if not ask a moderator to move it appropriately. I'm looking for scanner antennas for my car, that mount to the trunk lip. I'm not sure if there are any stores around here or if there's a website that may sell them. I am trying to stay away from anything big and bulky or that obvious, and I know I could order a windshield mount from radio shack but would rather something smaller. If anyone knows where I could go for something like that, it would be greatly appreciated.
