Football Season Already?

Is it just me, or does every year the football season start earlier and earlier?

There's already a "pre-season" game between the Giants and Ravens this weekend!

I mean, it's still August, early August, and hot out and baseball is in full swing. I mean, I equate football with fall and winter, the leaves changing, etc. I guess it's the same with all sports, Hockey and Basketball is on 'til June nowadays. What gives?

Hopefully, this will be the year finally, for the real N.Y. NFL Team that everyone seems to forget about. You know guys, the team from up north, where real football is played under adverse conditions. Lets Go Buffalo! Screw those N.J. Jets and N.J. Giants! Playing in the Meadowlands is like playing in a septic tank.

It is going to be a 13-3 season for Big Blue.

Seth - I got it figured out. Apparently, baseball will no longer have Spring Training, but will start camp in December.

Football will now be played from Flag Day to Columbus Day.

' team, i've always pulled for them and still do. I coach my sons football team ( the Jets!) spent a few hundred on the helmet logos and stripes, plus kick a** jerseys....sorry - gotta go for the home team!
