Code 3 Wishlist

25 posts in this topic

I'm curious, what's on everyone's (realistic) Code 3 wishlist?

For me:

1. Los Angeles City ALF Tiller

2. Yonkers PD ESU Truck 4

3. Hartsdale Engine 170 Pierce Dash and Ward LaFrance (Set!)

4. LA City FD Pierce Arrow XT

5. Hartsdale FD Tower Ladder 15

6. Yonkers FD ALF Engine 306

7. Bedford Hills TL-57

I'd love to see all the above in 1/64th diecast!

A Code 3 wish list? OK.....

1) All the rumors, speculation, and other drama-laden BS regarding the status of the company, and it's potential future (or lack thereof) to be put to rest once and for all by a credible source.

2) The company to not be so secretive about everything.

3) The company step up to the plate and start putting out some exciting stuff again.

4) The board to be reinstated, with the riff-raff weeded out, and the "good" members excited enough about the aforementioned exciting stuff to actually put their life on hold for a couple of hours over the course of the week and return to said board to discuss all things C3 in a positive light.

Oh, and as for die-cast, I'd like a Los Angeles City Pierce Dash as a Diamond Plate, Harrison's Sutphen tower (provided they could live with the accuracy issues), and, God willing they ever come to terms with KME, North Arlington, NJ's blue and white top-mount engine.

I would love to see them issue a set of Albuquerque NM pieces like they did with the Denver Seagraves when they released that series.

Albuquerque just got 5 brand new 06 Dash Pumpers a few months back. I have contacted them several times about this with no response whatsoever on it...

Come on, Andy. You know Numbah too is the legacy of the former Mad Scientist of Woodland Hills, usually started and finished with two words. "Can't say"

As for my wish list, ok, I'll bite yet again, because I have updated it.

LAFD Pierce E-63. LAFD Truck 63(if and when the old Seagrave is replaced) First LAFD house I ever visited, thanx Michelle.

LAFD Engine and Truck 27. I gotta go with Seth on this one, those ALF Tillers are sweet.

Lake Carmel 17-4-4.

Carmel 12-2-1 and 12-5-1.

Patterson 22-6-1(which I could probably bash if given the right tools/time)

ANY LA County KME Engine, preferably 51,127,8,30,and the Black over Red CAFS Engine when it gets assigned to a station.

LA County Crown marked for E-269.

ANY LA County KME TDA/TDQ 8,30,127,33,126(The last two to keep Seth smiling)

New style LA County Squads. 51 obviously comes to mind. This would be a little difficult considering 51 is one of only three 2 door cab Squads in the county.

Yonkers E-313/L-73/R-1 Stepjam did a hell of a job building these, and I would love to see those mass produced.

And now for my FDNY list:

E-72/Satellite 2, any era, preferably early 80's. They got the molds, let's get it done.

Engine 45/TL-58/Bn 18, top notch house and very distinctive rigs.

1/64 Squad 61

And of course

Engine 308/JFK Hosewagon/Bn 51. And maybe 308 in its past incarnations, 1979 Mack, 1985 Mack, and 2004 Seagrave. Always sharp looking, and for the obvious sentimental reasons.

Baltimore Engine 33/Truck 49 as soon as the licensing issues can be cleared up.

Anything from Baltimore now that I think of it.

Classics: Please be mindful that to me a classic is anything from the mid 60's up to the early 70's.

ALF 900 and Century tillers. FDNY and Yonkers come to mind for these. Especially those lime green ones that Yonkers had.

More LA County Ward La Frances. Maybe another E-60.

LA County Crown Snorkel, Truck 127, of course.

FDNY Mack R Pumper marked for E-303. Maybe even do the before and after(2003 Seagrave) with them.

LCFD Mack CF/Telesqurt 17-5-1.

Re-decaled LA County Squad 8, or the Squad used in the pilot episode of Emergency! as Squad 10.

More ALF Century pumpers from FDNY, Chicago, Put Lakes 23-2-3, and of course, LA County.

Yeah, right!

But, it's not like they were all that "open" about anything before said "Mad Scientist" came aboard. Haven't been too many hints dropped since he left, either. If Scott ever says "Can't Say", can we nail him for gimmick infringement? LOL!!!
