Chief Pells..... Nothing beats first due........ Nice shots....... I was there late in the incident and here is a few for now.......... I will post a link to video maybe tomorrow.... The interior crews at this incident deserve a lot of credit for their rescue of the elderly female occupant....... Great job!!!!!

Arlington EMS personnel begin to move the elderly female patient to the LZ for the Medevac helicopter. She reportedly was transported to Westchester Medical Center Burn Unit.

The bulk of the first floor fire now knocked down, crews now had to get the fire above......

Great job Arlington. I actually relieved our crew that transported the patient to the LZ and they were very impressed with all of your firefighters.

"The Captain and FF Lewis, beaten from the devil they have crushed come to the front of the house for a well deserved breather. Onlookers are shocked, as this is the first time anyone has EVER seen the Capt. wearing his bunker pants in his 20 year career. FF Lewis kneels and just as the onlookers think he has had it, he turns to the Captain and onlookers and proudly exclaims-

"GROUP 1 ! DON'T HATE US 'CAUSE YOU AIN'T US!!!!!"

NWFDMedicPosted Today, 10:03 AM Great job Arlington. I actually relieved our crew that transported the patient to the LZ and they were very impressed with all of your firefighters

Anyone who knows AFD know that they have top notch FF's and Medic's so it is no surprise that they once again did a phenomenal job. I had the honor of doing my Paramedic ride time with them and saw first had their professionalism, compassion and exceptional skills.........AFD a job well done once again!!!!!!!!! AFD Medic's are by far THEE BEST out there!

Despite a valiant effort on her behalf, and the FFs of AFD. Cannot say I am surprised. With the extent of injuries, and her age, I figured it was just a matter of time.

God bless!

Rest in Peace.

Sorry to hear the news, add in the care received while at the hospital, she just could not overcome the injuries suffered.
