Too bad the old white Hahn has to go. It nearly saved Guadalajara's across the parking lot!

Driving North on Rt.9 last night it looked like the new rig was in Quarters.

It is a very impressive looking rig. Last week I was eastbound on I-691 in Meriden, CT and the Archville apparatus went by, headed west, apparently on its way to Westchester County from Firematic in Rocky Hill. The thing that caught my eye right away was the fact that it looked huge compared to all other vehicles on the highway.

The thing IS huge. I'll have my cousin send me the pictures he has of it. It's a monster and reportedly just barely fits in the firehouse.

Before body was put on, larger cab and larger body then engine 58. We had the smallest rig out there when we went for our last trip!

saw it there today as well. Looks real sharp.

Regarding its size, its not that its overly wide or long, we have all seen wider and longer. It is just ridiculously tall, I mean, they were working on it on the bay apron and not actually in the shop at Metrocom because it did not look like it would fit inside. Its a massive rig, physically imposing due to its height.
