Katonah FD Parade Photos - 6/6/12

14 posts in this topic

These are my photos from Katonah FD’s parade last Wednesday. Weather wasn’t the best and I didn’t have a great spot but the parade was great. Photos are certainly not my best but I wanted to share. Anyone else who took photos, please share them in the thread. Some videos are bellow too.

Nice photos. I know that Katonah chief very well,he is a very nice guy. That Bedford PD "Ambulance" is used by C&O team, I always see that in route to fires up here in Northern Westchester.

Carrying flowers is done to honor departed members. Traditionally a sterling silver horn (trumpet) is used during presentation, such as in a formal ceremony or parade.

Work horns (trumpets) were brass, nickel, silver plated brass or painted tin.
