  1. True, but all this equipment was purchased a year ago, long before my current economic crisis! And the funniest part of it all, YOU are the one who whines more then I do about not having any money!!!
  2. Yes, that one power supply was spec-ed out before purchase to make sure it could handle the load of all items!
  3. Of course!! Haha, no, I just moved the chair out of the way so it didn't block the shot. Lack that function. If you wanted to pay me to sit there and listen to a scanner and send out texts all day, we can discuss a payment plan!!
  4. For those who 'know the game', they know that anything told to an EMS worker is patient confidentiality, yet, anything said to an officer of the law "could be used against you in a court of law". There are those who know the game, and play it on a daily basis!!
  5. Hit it with a hammer. If that doesn't work..... get a bigger hammer....
  6. Ok, I know this happened on another forum I am a member of, but it is still a relatively "local" individual. I arranged a trade with this individual, and sent (2) LED warning lights to him, and his arrangement was to send me a Leather N5A New Yorker. That was a month ago. I have since gotten the runaround from him. He lives in Morristown NJ, and claims to be a member of the Ambulance Squad there too, the reason I bring this to your attention here, is the locale, which some people from here might be from. If anyone knows anyone in this region, or has any advice, please let me know!! -xfirefighter484x
  7. Well played!! Well, for anyone inquiring, I can post this kids information now. Josh Wolfson (address withheld) Morristown NJ 07960 email: expwolfson@hotmail.com Jwolfson43@gmail.com http://www.morristownambulance.org/members/regmembers.htm
  8. Lol, that's the point of playing the game, to go to the game and enter your guess, not in here!!!
  9. Well, apparently after threatening legal action, and the Admins stepping in threatening to lock and suspend his account, he shipped back my lights, (i am awaiting their arrival). So, now that I am out of a leather helmet, anyone wanna sell one?? Lol!!
  10. My suggestion: Talk to EMSJunkie712. He was involved with the up and running of a College EMS service down in Florida. http://www.emtbravo.net/index.php?showuser=172
  11. I have been in on 2 trailer fires. My first fire, in fact, was a trailer fire. It can very easily be like an oven unless effective ventilation occurs. Also, it is a fast paced operation. Unless you get in quick, they go up fast, and will leave little to save.
  12. If your reasoning is to Bump the post, please refrain from that, it is agains the forum rules.
  13. All in good time, all in good time... Truck4 is the mastermind behind the operation, in the end, it is in his hands!
  14. I always have it on more than one occasion, have forgotten to pull it up over my neck (oops)!
  15. It could be both. Fit5fire is a paying advertiser to this site, and I think duly so, is allowed to let others know about their product, and a success story.
  16. Any pictures of such a device?
  17. There was was something referring to this "rig", if you will, previously, but I don't know in what section, so I won't bother looking for it. There IS, however, a video some dopey kids did somewhat recently, so enjoy!!
  18. Well, my question is this: How come so many people here are complaining about who decided what, and why these incidents were chosen, when SO MANY people posted inquiring about when the Top 10 was coming out?? http://www.emtbravo.net/index.php?showtopic=29865
  19. I have a question, and need some help if you are from the Morristown NJ area. Please PM me if you are.
  20. I just wanted to take a moment to thank a special group of guys to me. The Fairview (Dutchess) FD has an outstanding group of members, who, at the moment, are fighting an uphill battle with a great number of citizens from their town. If you want to find out more, do a search on here, or on Poughkeepsie Journal site. I more or less feel I have been "taken in" by these guys. I have been invited to visit, chat, have dinner, and just hang out with these guys. I have gotten loads of wonderful advice, guidance, and had many great times with them. I thank the members of the Fairview FD, and the Local 2623 for treating me so well, despite all the crap you guys take. Some of these gentlemen are members here; bil14ga, mbendel36, moggie6, firefighter35, fdny2817, and yes, even you FFD941 Thanks for showing the true spirit of brotherhood. http://www.fairviewfd.net/ -Nathan
  21. Being that it is a Rescue pumper, I would assume that there is at least SOME degree of EMS "First Responder" equipment on board, as seems to be becoming the standard these days (i.e. suction, AED, charger for battery operated tools like Sawzalls etc....).
  22. I cannot speak for any other counties/regions, but I will admit Seth, yes, Dutchess is a rare breed. Dutchess County is one of the few counties left in NYS that still hosts a "Weekend" at Montour Falls every year. This year, it will be year #17, and it is gets stronger every year. I have had the great honor of attending this for several years, but it appears I will not be making it this year, and I am very saddened. It is a time when all departments, no matter what issues that DO exist between certain companies (yes, there are some yet still), everyone has a good time, with TONS of laughs, and a few sips of spirits usually accompany them. So, if anyone wants to give up a spot, let me know, I want to go to DC Weekend #17 this year!!!!!!
  23. As for the high hose-bed, that is typical of rigs with a larger booster tank (this one having a 1000 gal tank). And as for the remote control deck gun, not having to send a firefighter teetering on top of a rig to control a deck gun, especially if freezing and slick, and if it needs to be moved after sitting in one position, it can be controlled from elsewhere (as was mentioned a remote control). Kudos, gentlemen, on a beautiful, and apparently VERY well spec-ed out rig. Best of luck with it. Rob, I expect an invitation to come shoot pictures!!
