  1. I was thinking the exact same thing. Don't get me wrong, it's great to have but is it really practical? Did it REALLY need a 'conference room'? IMO that money could have been used for a better purpose. Neat rig though. Way to go Yonkers

  3. I. (no more blue light threads)
  4. http://us.rediff.com/news/2008/nov/26-upda...r-in-mumbai.htm Fire at the Taj Hotel as well. Absolutely horrifying.
  5. Nice looking rig. I love the chevrons on the rear, looks great (and practical). Surprised no one commented on the blue lights to the rear
  6. Yeah, I know what you mean. In all honesty, I was expecting worse because I found myself struggling with those practice tests / books. I should have worded it differently. Aside from that, how long does the list take to come out? I'm hearing somewhere around 3months is that accurate?
  7. Pretty much the same as Myspace, only big difference is the emphasis on 'finding classmates' as opposed to myspace's 'friend everyone' issue. For the most part, Facebook doesn't have any of the spam / phishing that Myspace does. Facebook's a pretty good site to keep in touch with classmates (highschool / college for the most part) You should check it out, it's a good site.
  8. Took it at White Plains High School, it was incredible to see how many people showed up to take it. I thought it was relatively easy (or maybe I'm just used to taking civil service tests by now). I was expecting it to be more difficult, it was nothing like the examples in the prep books.
  9. That's the impression I was under. There was never any clear cut statement as to 'you passed!' Although, after taking the typing part, I did receive a letter saying I passed the typing (also how fast, and how many errors) but I never got anything in regards to the written, or the list.
  10. I got the 'results'. I got a letter saying a passed the written, and the typing part, but i haven't heard anything about the list.
  11. New article states 'suspect (son) in custody' http://www.lohud.com/article/20081026/NEWS/810260403 It was a tough night. Glad they got 'em.
  12. Didn't hear a thing, and there's 2 on Washington St in Peekskill right near my house.
  13. Thoughts and prayers for the family and friends. Hope for a speedy recovery as always.

  18. Link Can't wait to see the new additions.
  19. I believe that may have been an error in the article. Saturday I heard the hotline update on Peekskill PD's freq, and they advised that a red dash light was displayed. Although the victim may have stated blue after the initial update.
  20. Good luck to you guys, books killed me my first semester. But, now I've come to love the used versions. Criminal Justice / Paramedic EMS doesn't come cheap.
