AP is reporting that Anna Nicole Smith has died after collapsing at the Seminole Hard Rock Cafe Hotel near Hollywood, Florida. No word on how she has died.

From what i saw on CNN and another website, sounds like she arrested. Witnesses saw paramedics preforming CPR and apparently she was intubated.

She never was the brightest bulb in the pack, but on the commercials she did for TrimSpa and on some of the episodes on her television show a few years ago, she appeared lucid despite her ditzyness. Her son died in September in what are extremely suspicious circumstances. She's made it a point to be on shows such as ET, The Insider, Extra, and whatever garbage shows will give her some airtime so that she can publicly "grieve" her son's death. On the shows, she appears either drunk, stoned, or both, and is clearly slurring her words. So then there's the rumor that the boyfriend (Stern) gave her son the methadone that ultimately killed him. Now all of a sudden, she dies just like the son: suspiciously. Co-incidence? I think not...

News of Anna Nicole Smith's collapse come just days after Smith and the diet company TrimSpa were named in a class-action lawsuit that alleges the company's marketing of their weight loss pill is false or misleading. The lawsuit is aimed at trying to stop Anna Nicole and TrimSpa from making claims that their pill can make people lose large amounts of weight. Smith was named in the lawsuit as she is the spokesperson from TrimSpa.

Watching some of these videos I am wondering something.

Would a regular 39 year-old female citizen who goes into cardiac arrest at this facility receive the assistance and escorts that Anna-Nicole got?!

I don't understand why these idiots from Hollywood get so much extra attention. Most of them, so it seems, are pieces of garbage and don't deserve anything more then Joe Public.

The Med Examiner just released some preliminary findings, no foul play or any indication of an OD, nothing unusual found in the stomach. They are going to the next phase for toxicology reports.

With no disrespect to the dead....there have been several line of duty firefighter duty deaths this past week along with the never ending deaths of our troops in the war. I don't see any lenghty coverage over any of them and they died protecting others....

With all the media coverage and all, you'd think a head of state or someone equally important died. So the question begs to be asked, When's the National Memorial Service and why aren't the flags at Half-Staff??? Has the mourning period offically started yet??
