Thanks, fyrlt17 for sharing the photos! I know this has been a long time in the making, and it's awesome to finally see it. Also well deserved and much needed to a longtime budget-concious, city controlled fleet. I really like that ALF ladder spec....and it looks awesome, too. Great work by the members of WPFD who worked on making this truck a reality!

Just one question...what station is L-32 out of, and when can we expect to see it on the streets of WP's?

I'm a little confused here, is this a new delivery? The original post says it is a 2007.

American LaFrance has experienced significant delays in delivering new apparatus due to their fiscal problems. When ALF changed owners, separated from its partners and went bankrupt in 2007 much of its apparatus manufacturing ceased because it did not have the money or the capital to have loans to buy parts needed. This caused many units to sit on the assembly line for months or years before they could be completed. It happened to a department by my school in Vermont and it appears to have happened to white plains.

Did White Plains recently revieve an ISO class 1 rating? Prior to this I thought Syracuse was NY's only ISO class 1.

Nice rig. Does anyone know where it will be kept until it goes into service? My guess is that it will be kept at Station 2.
