A Mobile Life crew was involved in a serious injury mva with extrication and a medevac this morning on Rt 32 in Bloomington (Ulster County). Please send prayers for the crew and the whole Mobile Life family

From the Mobile Life Facebook site:

As some of you already know, there was a severe accident involving a Mobile Life ambulance this morning. We ask that you not speculate, and, if you are aware of any information, that you not post anything on Facebook. We also ask that you not call or text dispatch, administrators, or supervisors requesting information. They are very busy handling this incident and not all of the information is available yet. We will keep everyone posted when the time comes. Thank you to everyone who has been showing us support this morning.

Paramedic critical after ambulance collides with pickup

BLOOMINGTON – A Mobile Life paramedic is in critical condition after the ambulance he was driving collided head-on with a pickup truck on Route 32 on Saturday morning.

The paramedic, whose name has not been released yet, had to be extricated from the ambulance before being airlifted to Albany Medical Center with unknown injuries after the crash, which occurred before 7 a.m. in Bloomington.

An emergency medical technician riding with him was treated at Kingston Hospital and scheduled to be transported to Albany Medical for more treatment, said Andrew LaMarca, director of development for Mobile Life.

Since names, etc have been made public, I'll post this.

Bill is out of surgery and in ICU. Gigi was treated at Kingston Hospital and transferred to Albany Med but has since been released.

LOT of people with thoughts directed in Bill and Gigi's direction, especially with this being EMS week. The story has gone national and tons of prayers will be with them both. Glad to hear Gigi is home and recovering. Hoping Bill has a speedy recovery.
