To answer 61MackBR1...and anybody else.....IT"S YONKERS...nothing is easy...nothing is simple...everything is a problem...in my opinion the administration is waiting to get the right price for the School st location,the building will not be torn down, it may be converted to residential/commercial... let's wait and see.......this is my OPINION based on years of observation of Yonkers politics...other opinions welcome 

I'am thinking the reason for no fence is the same as the San Diego-Coronado bridge...they don't want to spoil the view...unfortunately the SD-Coronado bridge is an easy bridge to jump from,low barriers .....same as the GW...... 

Why is this always a surprise... The PA answers to NO ONE...never has and never will.....

I was wondering if anybody noticed Yonkers sent 6 pieces of apparatus (2 engines 2 trucks 1 MSU and 1Batt.) to New Rochelle... not fair to Yonkers residents my self included...I have no problem with mutual aid...god knows we just had a big mutual aid....just spread it around...I know they put Batt 3 in service don't know if they replaced the line units...anybody have more info?

New York didn't have the money to send tax refunds out on time...where in the hell will they get the money for free college?Maybe higher taxes for those who WORK  instead of living off the public dole....let those butt holes worry about 2017 and not a run in 2020...God save the USA.....

P.S....I would love to see Indian Point closed,come up with an alternative source of power and we'll talk...

I meant  to imply that fault most likely lies with city hall and the administration...also building occupants  who had to know something was wrong...i'am sure inspectors reported conditions to supervisors ...

Seth.....what went wrong was a lot of people didn't do their jobs.... for what ever the reason...now they play the blame game....(my opinion)
