Damn. I saw it on Fox News not to long after it occurred but they had limited info.

RIP brother. My thoughts are with his family and the family of Boston FD.

RIP.

Brother, when you weep for me,

Remember that it was meant to be.

Lay me down and when you leave,

Remember I’ll be at your sleeve.

In every dark and choking hall,

I’ll be there as you slowly crawl.

On every roof in driving snow,

I’ll hold your coat, and you will know.

The house from which I now respond,

Is overstaffed with heroes gone.

Men who answered one last bell,

Did the job and did it well.

As firefighters we understand,

That death’s card dealt in our hand.

A card we hope we never play,

But one we hold there anyway.

That card is something we ignore,

As we crawl across a weakened floor.

For we know that we’re the only prayer,

For anyone that might be there.

So remember as you wipe your tears,

The joy I knew throughout the years.

As I did the job I loved to do,

I pray that thought will see you through.

Having worked on Huntington Ave just down the street from E37/L26/D5, and being associated with another "L26" this incident really hits home and makes me feel even worse than I already do when I hear of a LODD.

Condolences to all who were affected. I wish a full and speedy recovery to the injured FF's.

As soon as I heard that name, my heart sank. I remember watching that show a few years back, and not even a week ago I watched the whole season again on Youtube. Rest Easy Brother.

Rest in Peace...I too remember watching this and could not believe that it had happened. In one of episodes you see him with his family and you get even more emotional.
