My local BP station increased the price 40. cents over night.

From what I understand, there was a large group of motorcycles being chased over the TZ bridge.
Once they got into Westchester they split into smaller groups. It is possible that separate groups were pursued by various Police Depts.

What is the law , pertaining to having red lights and sirens in a POV.
Awhile back I witnessed a MVA in Rockland, right outside New Square.
Within moments like six members of Hatzolah showed up in there POV with red lights and sirens blaring.
The way these guys responded up to the scene, you would think they were responding to a 10:13, it was scary.

Weather Conditions: Clear
Description Of Incident: A 76 year old man was walking out of ShopRite when he was struck by an SUV in the parking lot.
Thiells FD was dispatched to set up a landing zone. Medevac was cancelled enroute. The victim was transported via ambulance to Nyack Hospital at which time he was pronounced.

What really surprises me is that Squad 61 only has 14700 votes.
You would think that becuase they are part of the largest FD in the world, that they would be in competetion with the others.

FOX is reporting that they have cancelled the reality TV show COPS, after 25 seasons.
However, SpikeTV will now run new episodes at the Sat. 8:00 PM time slot.
