  2. Thanks, I think that answered our questions
  3. I think that until last year, the security really didnt call them unless they were needed. Then all of a sudden something changed. I think it was a state policy changfe or something to that effect . Maybe a Purchase member can give us the exact reason for the change.

  6. Any lotion with aloe works for me.
  7. I remember a tractor trailer rollover years ago in Port Chester on 287E to I 95N. It was the old patrol 4 (Rescue 40) that I think was a 1969 Oren (eng58 can correct me if I am wrong). It had a huge exhaust that could be heard for blocks and we stood next to it to keep our feet from freezing. It might not be the most up to date tool to use , but it sure works!

  16. That is the old ladder 25 a 1975 Seagrave. I dont remember for sure, but I think it was sold at auction in 2001. Ladder 26, the 1955 Maxim/1985 Spartan was auctioned in 2006 and is now in Mass and is for sale again.

  19. I know the ones on I-287 and I-95 are dispatched by the New York State Police in Albany. They operate 2 trucks on each highway, they are on the same frequency and are call signaled as 601-604. They might also have a spare truck or two. They help at accicent scenes, assist stranded motorist if they can or will call for a tow.
  20. The parade was handled by Mellor Engine and Hose.
