It's Official, I'm Retired!

32 posts in this topic

After 38 years with ConEd, and the last 18 with Gas Operations, it's time to hang up my wrenches!

After (IF) we sell the ranch, we're moving to Cape Cod.

I guess I'll have to become a Sox fan, and join EMTBravo NewEngland!

Here's what I'll be doing much of the time

Hey, if you still want to volunteer there are multiple combo depts. down there. Here's a link to everything fire dept. for the Cape: capecodfd.com

Jack, have a fun time in retirement. I suggest if you move to the Cape, go to Yarmouth or Hyannis, most everything is there. I also highly reccomend deep-sea fishing.

Congrats Jack, now when I'm up in Dennisport, I'll have to track you down if you move up there! Also there is no need for you change to a Red Sox fan, there are enough of us Yankees up there! :)

Congrats Jack! My father ritired a year or so ago from Con Ed Electric with 44 years on the job and he hasnt looked back since!

The Cape would be a wonderful place to retire to, i just came back from Hyannis not to long ago myself.

Whatever you do in your retirement, enjoy it to the fullest, as it is well deserved!
