Only the best firefighters can be in the Squad. One time we pulled up to a report of a child in the river and the waters parted like Moses and the Red Sea. We get our bullet proof capes and learn to yell Squad loudly.

I think 52 is a spare as well. The Spare Tiller is Ex-Truck 2 or 6. I got pictures of that last year.

I think you are right as the spares dont have the roto rays.

Engine 52 is what the DCFD calls a "Water Supply Unit". I believe there are 6 of them(1 per Battalion). I'm not sure exactly what they're used for.

Reserve Engines in D.C. are in the 60's to 70's number range.

E52 carrys LDH. I do not remember how many feet.

Do the "normal" engines not carry LDH? If not, what are they using for water supply? I only ask because we have a few departments around here that aren't using LDH and its a constant debate back and forth.
